Mental Health First Aid training
The TTI Training Department is proud to offer Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) training. MHFA is an evidence-based and internationally recognized program that teaches people about mental health issues and instructs them in what to do if they encounter someone having a mental health issue or crisis.
MHFA is an 8-hour training that can be taught in one day or over two 4-hour days. Participants earn a national certificate as a Mental Health First Aider that is valid for 3 years.
MHFA comes in two versions. The first is a designed for anyone in the community. The second, is specifically designed for adults who work with children and teenagers. This can include youth ministers, teachers, coaches, scout leaders, and many others.
If MHFA or YMHFA sounds like training that would benefit you or your group, give the Training Department a call at . We would be happy to answer your questions, schedule you for a training, or schedule a training for your group.
