Evidence-Based Practice

Quite simply, Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) is using the best available evidence to guide clinical practice. As scientists have increased their understanding of how the human brain works over the past two decades, the approach to the treatment of diseases caused by brain abnormalities has changed. In mental health and other medical fields, there has been a call for more widespread adoption of treatment approaches that are scientifically grounded.

Treatment provided by TTI is supported by psychological and sociological evidence. Consumers have a right to expect that the services they receive are the best possible, and the EBP interventions supported by rigorous research offer more reassurance of that level of quality.

TTI follows a number of Evidence-Based Practices including Assertive Community Treatment, Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment, Supported Employment, Family Psychoeducation and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
